God has a Plan for You

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace,
and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall
go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.And ye shall seek me, and
find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
 Jeremiah 29:11:13

I would like to encourage everyone to be faithful to believe; to get into the timing of God; to trust Him no matter what the circumstance may be.

Often times, we become discouraged because things don’t happen in our life according to the time frame or the schedule that we've mapped out for ourselves and because of this, we have a tendency to misdirect our focus or attention away from the intention of God. But, we have to realize that God is an all knowing; all seeing, all capable God who is constantly working on our behalf. But, He’s working in His time (kairos); not ours. Once we realize this, our hope in Christ Jesus should never waver. So even when things don’t work out according to our schedule, God should continue to be the center of our joy.   He should continue to be the one we rely on. Remember that we are not operating on our strength nor our timing. God is the creator of all and He is always moving things in the atmosphere, stirring things up down here on this earth, shifting things and you, setting things in the way that He would have it to go for His glory; not mine, not yours, but His. This is what God tells Isaiah:

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.  He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.  Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:  But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31

This chapter in Isaiah is one of comfort but it also teaches patience to the children of Israel to let them know that their reliance should remain faithful to God that they would not always be in captivity and that their restoration would come. So though you may weary in your spirit and faint in your walk, don’t give up your hope in Jesus that He will do what is promised in His word.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.   Galatians 6:9

He tells us in his word, farther on in Isaiah, that His word will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purpose for which He sent it.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.   Isaiah 55:11

So don’t forget the condition: it’s for those who hope in the Lord. Make this your declaration:

My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean in Jesus' name.

Apostle Paul tells the Roman church to Rejoice in hope; to be patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.

Here is my prayer of encouragement for today:

Dear heavenly Father, we thank You for this opportunity to once again come before You in prayer. We thank You Lord for one more day; for the dawning of this day; for allowing us to see another day; for keeping us through this day, for watching over us, for keeping us from hurt, harm and danger; for allowing us to wake in our right mind, with our health and our strength, a desire to serve You, for bringing us thus far through this day, Lord, for Your traveling mercy, and for keeping us safe in our comings and our goings.

And now Lord, we look to You for our strength; You say in Your word that power belongs to You. So then Lord we know that whatever we need, You are able through Your sovereignty. We believe in Your word Oh God and have faith to believe that all things are possible through You. In all things we trust You. In the good times and the bad times, when things are going our way and even when they seemingly are not, our trust; our hope is still in You. Help us to understand and believe that all things are working together for the good – even when we can’t see it Lord. Help us Lord to be faithful to believe in You and Your word.

We trust You Lord God for our healing. Remember those among us that are in need of a touch from You Lord.  We call on You as our Jehovah Rapha; the Lord God our healer.

Lord, we know that all things are possible through You. Teach us patience Lord to abide in Your timing; trusting and believing that You are able to bring us to that expected end; to that which You have ordained and purposed for us. Let Your perfect will be done in our life. Move us from fear to faith. From depression to delight in You; faithful to believe on Your promises. Let Your will be predominant in our lives. Process a ‘yes’ in us; a yes to Your will, a yes to Your way, a yes to Your word. Help us to be obedient to Your word so that we can be all that You require us to be. We are Your instruments to be used for Your glory. Let Your glory be revealed through us.

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.  Romans 6:13

Lord, You are the lifter of our heads, even as we’re to lift You up. We thank You for Your goodness and Your mercy. When we trust in You, Your goodness and mercy, they follows us. Even as You’re faithful to forgive, help us to be faithful to believe in You and Your word. Help us to believe in Your sovereignty; that all things are possible through You. Help us to keep holding on to You; take away the spirit of defeat. We shouldn't worry because You said in Your word that we have victory in You. Help our unbelief Lord. Take us to a higher place in You.

Lord we worship and adore You. We worship You Lord, You’re so holy that there is none like You, we love You Lord. Nothing compares to You. We bless Your holy name. Lord Your name is far above all other names. Lord You said that if we lift You up that You would draw all men unto you. Don’t let us forget that it’s not about us, but about Your manifested glory.

You gave us the precious gift of the holy ghost so that we would have power to witness unto all men. We’re on the battle field; soldiers for You; help us to stay directed and focused on You and the battle that is waging around us. Help us to be the light in this world filled with sin; darkened by iniquity and polluted by evil. Help us to stand up and proclaim Your name in our speech and in our actions. Lord, where ever we go, in our homes, on our jobs, where ever we may be, let your glory be revealed; make us glory carriers for You; willing and able instruments.

Lord, even now, we plead the blood against every thing that is not like You. Lord we ask, in the name of Jesus, that You intercede on our youth; loose the bonds that are enslaving our children, give them a hunger and thirst for You Lord, for righteousness. Give us, the parents and guardians, wisdom to raise them and train them in Your ways; to teach them to love and serve You. Lord give us a passion to work for You, to be about our heavenly father’s business.  Help us to be willing, submissive and obedient servants to you.

In all things Lord, we acknowledge You and look to You for direction. We pray for our spiritual leaders and pastors that You keep them covered in the blood. Lord we pray that You lift a standard of holiness among our pastors and shepherds, Lord that they remain humble in Your sight and that they do according to Your will; never forgetting that it is no goodness of our own, but through Your grace and your mercy that we live, move and have our very being.

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.  Acts 17:28

Lord we ask that you intervene on behalf of our governmental leaders; that you place God fearing men and women among them.

Because of who You are Lord, we thank You, we give You the honor and the glory, we thank You for Your sovereignty. We thank you Lord, because in the midst of it all, Lord, I know that You are with us. We thank You for the plan that You've designed for each one of our lives. We thank you Lord because we know that Your will is good, it is acceptable and it is perfect.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Romans 12:2

Lord we pray for every person that doesn't know You, Lord, that You deal with them in such a way that they see You and recognize You for who You are. Give them a desire; a hunger and a thirst for You. Help us Lord on this battlefield of unsaved souls; help us to be fully adorned in Your armor and full of your Holy Spirit so that we are a help and not a hindrance to those that are lost and need You. Help them who are distressed over the cares of the world. Loose the bonds of worry; redirect their thoughts to You. You said in Your word that in all our ways, we are to acknowledge You and it’s You that will direct our path.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Proverbs 3:5-6

Help them to cast their cares on You; to put their problems and their situations in Your hands.

My continuous petition before You, Lord, is that the body of Christ keep our trust and our hope firmly in You; that we don’t waver, that we don’t become deceived by the enemy, but rather we become an anointed force to be reckoned with as we move and operate in Your power.

We thank you for all that You’ve done and all that you’re going to do and it is through the authority given us in your name, Jesus, we pray, amen.

Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus,
and shall present us with You.   For all things are for your sake, that the abundant
grace  might through the thanksgiving of many redound (return) to the glory of God.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man
is renewed day by day.  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment,
worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look
not  at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things
which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
 2 Corinthians 4:14-18

Glory, get us to that place Lord!

God bless you all.

God is Great!

In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.
Psalms 44:8

So now Israel, what do you think God expects from you? Just this: Live in his presence in holy reverence, follow the road he sets out for you, love him, serve God, your God, with everything you have in you, obey the commandments and regulations of God that I’m commanding you today—live a good life.  Look around you: Everything you see is God’s—the heavens above and beyond, the Earth, and everything on it.  God, our God, is the God of all gods, he’s the Master of all masters, a God immense and powerful and awesome.  Deuteronomy 10:12-17 (message)

I’m always grateful for another day that God has kept me and as King David declares, I will boast in the Lord every chance I get.

For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.  Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me  about with songs of deliverance. Selah.  I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go : I will guide thee with  mine eye.  Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must  be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.  Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall  compass him about.  Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in  heart.  Psalms 32:6-11

In everything that we do, in every place that we go, we ought to glorify God to the highest and make it known that we are a child of the King and that we serve the one true living God.  We ought to boast in the Lord of His goodness.  We should be lively stones, not sad sacks complaining of all the negative things surrounding us.

So even now, as we begin to pray, we want to thank God for His goodness unto us; for the things that He has done and the things that He is doing and the things that He is going to do!

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You on this day Lord for Your grace and for Your mercy; for allowing us to see another day.  Lord we thank You because You first loved us. Lord, You love us with an everlasting love; more than we love our self, with a love that surpasses all understanding, and we thank You for it Lord.  We bless Your Holy Name.  Thank you Lord for your promises!

Lord we thank You that You are not like man that You should lie nor like the son of man that You should repent; if You spoke it, it will be done.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?  Numbers 23:19

We thank You Lord for Your consistency; because You're faithful; and Your faithfulness does not waver.  We thank You Lord for Your longsuffering, Your loving kindness and for Your mercy towards us.   We thank You Lord because Your word is forever settled in Heaven and it will accomplish that for which it was sent.  Lord we thank You for the very plans that You have pre-destined for our life and Lord we pray that those plans be walked out and fulfilled by us.

We thank You Lord because You know our need and we know that You are a provider of those needs.  When we walk in Your will, Lord, we know that the provision comes from You; Lord that You will make a way for us.

Help us Lord to forgive our enemies even as You are faithful to forgive us our sins and our shortcomings.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:   Matthew 6:14

Help us Lord to love in the manner in which You require.  Help us Lord to grow in the spirit of love which we know is Your very nature; a part of the fruit of the spirit. Lord You said in your word to follow peace with all men and holiness without which no one can see You.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:  Hebrews 12:14

Help us Lord to come together in unity and love.

Purge us Lord that we may emerge with clean hands, a right spirit and a pure heart so that we can abound stronger in You Lord.   Help us Lord to continue pressing toward the high calling of You in Jesus Christ.   Lord we thank You for Your grace; you said in your word that your grace is sufficient to keep us.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: . . .  2 Corinthians 12:9

Lord You said in Your word that You will not forsake us.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  Hebrews 13:5

Lord, You said in Your word that we are to trust You with all of our heart.  You said to lean not to our own understanding but rather, that in all of our ways we are to acknowledge You and that You will direct our path.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Proverbs 3:5-6

We thank You Lord for your direction in our life today.  Our continuous pray is that You have Your way in our life.  Guide us with Your counsel Lord and through the Holy Spirit.

Help us to know and accept that You are the potter, Lord, and we are the clay, mold us and make us into what we need to be in You – into what You have called us to be.

Lord we know that there is nothing too hard for You.  That which You have spoken You are able to perform and we know through our faith in You that it will come to past.   Lord we pray for our governmental leaders; they need your spiritual guidance!  Lord we pray for our spiritual leaders; that you strengthen and keep then built up in You, Lord that they continuously lift Your standard.  Lord we pray for the body of Christ that we remain steadfast in You and Your word!  Lord remember the sick among us, the elderly, the frail, the widows and widowers, the feeble, Lord and those that have lost loved ones.  Bring peace and comfort and strength in the name of Jesus.  Lord, we plead the blood of the lamb, against every evil and demonic influence that comes against us.  We know at the blood, everything unlike You has to flee because there is power in the blood of Jesus.

We thank You Lord because You are a present help in the time of trouble.  And when we call upon You, You will come down and see about us.  That is an honor and a privilege that is undeserved and we praise You  for it Lord!

Lord we thank You because You are our stronghold in the time of adversity.  We thank You Lord because You uphold us in Your right hand!  We thank you Lord because You are our hiding place; You surround us with Your promises of deliverance.

Lord we thank You because we serve an AWESOME God; the one true God, the living God, the great I AM, the almighty God, the only WISE God.  Our Jehovah Rapha, (our healer), our Jehovah Nissi, (our banner), our Elohim (our power and might), our Jehovah Rohi (our shepherd), our Jehovah Jireh (our provider), our Jehovah Shalom (our peace), omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, Hallelujah!  In You, Lord, we are complete, because in everything, You are!   You tell us in Your word that ‘power belongs to you.’  We ask even now, in the precious name of Jesus, Lord God, that You move in the atmosphere, Lord that you stir up the atmosphere, that you let Your healing power flow, Lord that you right the wrongs in our lives, send a refreshing and strengthen us in You oh Lord.

We thank You Lord for the comforter (the Holy Spirit) that You sent unto us; even to reside within us, to lead, guide and direct our steps and cause us to walk in Your statutes.  We thank You Lord for Your Holy Spirit that makes intercession for us when we don’t know what we should be praying for.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  Romans 8:26

Heavenly Father, we pray today that you intervene in every situation that is not in accordance to Your will.  Lord we pray for healing of mind, heart, spirit and body; knowing that you are able above measure.  Help us, Lord, Your glory carriers, to proclaim Your name, to lift Your name.  You said in Your word that if we lift You up that You would draw all men to You.  Let our conversations and our deportment honor You today, let it bring glory to Your name.  Every day, help us to remember Lord, that it is not about us, but about You and Your manifested glory.

Lord we bless Your holy name today and we reverence You, we love You, Lord we magnify Your holy name.  Lord we place no one and nothing before or above You.  Once more, Lord we thank you in the wonderful name of Jesus.  Amen.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."  Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.  He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.  You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.  A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.  Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.  Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.  In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.   You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.  He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.  With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation."
Psalm 91:1-16

God bless you with peace and joy; may His grace abound in your life.
