For thy word's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them. Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to
all that we have heard with our ears.
2 Samuel 7:21-22
Greetings in the name of Jesus.
Praise God for yet another day that He has made. We should certainly rejoice and be glad in
it. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
My thoughts today are directed toward the
sovereignty of God and that we not only let Him rule in our life
but that we also allow ourselves to rest and abide in Him with full assurance
that God who can and does do so many awe-inspiring things, immeasurable things, things greater than we ever could ask or imagine through the power at work in us.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
When we allow God to rule in our lives,
nothing is impossible. He is the same
God yesterday, today and forever. And
just as He delivered the children of Israel, He can deliver us from our various
situations; no matter what they are. We
are not to be defeated in God!
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:37
We can’t
become discouraged when things are not seemingly going our way! We have to trust and believe that it is not
over until God says it is over! God is in the midst of it all and working on our behalf to bring us to His expected end; that His will may be accomplished not only in our lives, but the lives and situations of others.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Moses described God to the children of Isreal by saying:
For the Lord Your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe. Deuteronomy 10:17
He is not a respecter of person, we can all go to Him in accordance to His word.
If we want to be partakers of and benefit from His awesomeness, all He requires of us is but to fear (reverence) Him, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord our God with all our heart. soul, mind and strength and to keep the commandments of the Lord.
David speaks of the power of God when he says:
God hath spoken
once; twice have I heard this; that power belongs to God. Psalms 62:11
We have to understand that there is no greater
power than that of God. Apostle Paul describes it this way:
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. Ephesians 1:21
If we understand, accept and believe this, how
can we not know that we are conquerors
through Christ Jesus? If
God be for
us, who
can be against
us?
So we should be comforted and rest assured that by being on the
Lord’s side everything is already alright, because all power belongs to
Him!
Having said that, with all minds being on one
accord, here is my prayer:
Dear heavenly Father,
We come to You this day
with grateful hearts and praise on our lips that You kept us just one more day;
that You allowed us to wake this day with our health and our strength and clothed
in our right mind. We thank You Lord because
we have a continued mind to serve You.
And because we serve and trust You Lord, we have a blessed assurance
that You are our refuge and our fortress; no battle is too big or too small for
You to handle; and heavenly Father when our situations, cares, concerns and
issues overwhelm us, we thank You because we can hide in the shadow of Your wings,
o mighty God, we can have safety in the shelter of the most high.
We thank You, Lord God, for Jesus. For sending us Your son to purchase our
salvation. We know, God, that there is power
in the name of Jesus, that in the name
of Jesus there is victory, there is healing, there is salvation. At the name of Jesus, demons flee, yokes are
broken, strongholds are cast down, souls are saved. There is no one else who can rescue us, and there is no other name under heaven given to any human by whom we may be rescued.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4;12
Through the name of Jesus and the precious Holy Ghost
within us, we are more than overcomers, we are conquerors and we are no longer
victims – but we are victorious through You!
Give us increased faith, Lord God, when we call on You, to know
that You will rescue us, that You will protect us. Help us to remain steadfast in You so that
when we call upon You, You will not only hear our cry from above but You’ll answer
us, that You’ll come down and see about us, that You’ll be with us and deliver
us in our times of trouble. Lift us up in Your righteous hand and help us
not grow weary while doing good, help us not to faint while fighting this
fight.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9
Keep us
dear Lord; we know that You are able because all power belongs to You and we
are victorious in You!
Dear God, we thank You for great and everlasting faithfulness! We thank You for Your goodness and for Your
mercy. We know that when we walk in
obedience according to Your word that You will supply every
need we have according to Your riches in
glory.
We know that this
is a suffering way, that even as Jesus suffered, we must suffer also.
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 1 Peter 4:1
Help us Lord to stay donned in the armour of
spiritual warfare and graced with the fruit of Your holy spirit so that in all
our ways, we are able to withstand and stand against the influences of evil and
be a shining light to a dying world darkened by sin and shame. Help us Lord to be good laborers for You.
We need You, oh
God, in our lives. Remember all of those
who are suffering both physically and mentally.
We pray, oh Lord God, that You bring peace and deliverance to those that
are troubled, that You bring comfort to those in sorrow, healing to those who
are sick. We pray in the precious name
of Jesus that You bind everything that is not like You. Help us O God to keep our minds stayed on You.
In all of our
ways, You said, Lord, that we are to acknowledge You; that You will direct our
path. Help us to be ambassadors for You, Jesus, remembering at all times that we are
walking in the holy spirit with the anointing that You, the sovereign one, the King of kings and Lord of lords have placed within us.
And now as we go
about our daily activities, Lord we pray that You be with us, that You lead us
and guide us, give us wisdom and knowledge to speak and act according to Your
will; that we may be laborers in Your field today; that Your manifested glory
be revealed through us dear God.
We ask all these
things and we thank You for all things, in Jesus wonderful name I pray, amen
Prayerfully something was read that will bless us and keep us today; that our minds will be in perfect peace with the Lord. Be assured that God will fill every need we have according to His glorious riches in Jesus:
But my God shall supply all Your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
God bless you all
and have a wonderful Jesus-filled day!
