Know ye not that ye are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1 Corinthians 3:16
There is so much to say about the comforter; also known as the Holy Spirit. When God graced us to receive His Holy Spirit, it was the greatest gift given to man. Understand that the Holy Spirit serves many purposes in addition to equipping us to remain strong in our faith toward God. The
titles and emblems representing the Holy Spirit provides knowledge of His nature
and functions on behalf of the believer. A title is a descriptive phrase which
explains a person's position and/or function. For example, if a person has the
title of "President" of a country, it explains his position in
government and his function as leader of the nation. The titles given to the Holy Spirit in the
Bible reveal much about His position and function. Thus the Holy Spirit is called:

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Romans 8:15

Finally, the spirit of God, His Holy Spirit is power;
power to abstain from sin,
power to witness the good news of Jesus,
power to break every yoke and break free from bondage
and most importantly,
the power to walk righteously before God.
