Transformational Truth

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:1-2

The only way we can be on the right side of God is by getting there the way He predestined which is through Christ Jesus.  The purpose of being transformed is so that you can keep the information in your spirit traveling to your mind.    We have to know and follow the will and standards of God who sets the path before us.  A transformed mind breaks down all barriers and allows us to not only recognize but accept and obey the truth of Jesus.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

God does not deal with our flesh and our common way of thinking.  With a transformed mind, we will forever be in touch with what the spirit of God is saying and involved with that good, perfect and acceptable will of God. God brings the best out of us.  A transformed mind develops well-formed maturity in us.

If the enemy has your mind, he has you.  It is our responsibility to prove God's good, acceptable and perfect will; to walk it out – at all times.  In order to accomplish this, we must first be a recipient of truth.  Through a transformed mind, we are able to open our self up to receive truth.  This truth that must be buried in our spirit, our mind and our behavior.  This is the only way transformation can take place.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32

> Truth, in the process of being transformed:

  • Confronts falsehoods and lies, makes us look at self, allows us to see the lies people have spoken over us, and lies in our spirit.
  • Confronts what is not of God in your spirit and your mind.
  • Confronts false images presented by the enemy.
  • Confronts false images of who God is and what God does.

If you are a lover of the truth, you will appreciate the confrontation.

>  Truth corrects incorrect information that is sitting in our spirit.

We cannot move forward until we get the falsehoods out of your spirit.

> Truth creates new patterns through new experiences from God that causes you to grow.

Get back to foundation creational truths.  The worse thing someone can say is ‘I’ve been doing it this way all my life’. This stunts our growth and causes us not to advance.
We will be held accountable for not perpetuating truth; it is the way we are transformed.
Transformation causes truth to chip away from what has become cemented in our spirit.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.   2 Corinthians 5:17

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:    Philippians 2:5

Transformation moves us in our mind, spirit behavior, and lifestyle.  When we are not moving, we become frustrated.  We have to allow truth to move the cement blocks in our spirit and allows us to to advance in the possibilities of God.

And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.  Luke 18:27

Being stuck in your mind and spirit causes boundaries to be built around the possibilities of God.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.  Isaiah 43:19

When you put up boundaries around the possibilities of God, you are no longer willing, able or motivated to go beyond the boundaries.   You have now put yourself in bondage.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.   Galatians 5:1

>      Truth will confront your wrong thinking which feeds the negativity and takes us back into our storage of wrong ways – which has nothing to do with going forward

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.   Luke 9:23

One of the results of being transformed is the ability to knock down those walls of limitation and cause us to move into realms where all things are possible in God.

And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.  Mark 20:27

God gives us the strength to do what He wants us to do and when we step outside of his will, we lose His strength.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.   Philippians 4:13

Transformation  comes from knowing the truth of God, hearing, learning and applying the word of God.  It causes us to move.   If you’re not moving you’re not learning.  If you’re not learning, you’re rejecting truth

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. Daniel 11:32

We cannot just be a hearer of the word of God, we must be doers.

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
James 1:22

The only way the word of God becomes inaccurate according to man is when we hear it only and not do it.  This is a sacrificial relationship with God.  We are living epistles and now become Truth.   ‘It’s not about the church building; it is wherever you are.

Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?  Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:  Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. 2 Corinthians 3:1-3

A transformed mind reconnects your spirit, mind and entire life to God.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.       Matthew 16:24

It’s time to reconnect
