Disciples Anointing

In my Father's house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:2

We need to understand that we have promises in Christ Jesus.  You have to get in the word, know the word and understand the word.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.   Isaiah  9:6-7

This scripture helps you to understand the oneness of God; knowing that it is speaking of Jesus who is being called the everlasting father.  Because the government is upon His shoulder, we don’t have to worry about the cares of this world.  The anointing that is on you does not bow even in the hard times.  Realize that we pray, fight, preach harder when we go through and the anointing is giving us the ability to go through and not walk away.  We have a supernatural strength from God that kicks in and rises up within us.  The Supernatural is God’s divine ability to perform.  God performing through us = God’s performance.  Operating in our own ability or our flesh = man’s performance.

And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.   Luke 1:45

The Anointing – The fleshy audience is hit by man’s performance but the spiritual audience is affected by Gods performance. The question is, What are you anointed for?
Understand that somethings are not going to happen until you give the order.

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.  Job 22:28

This is a voice activated kingdom which cannot be operated in our fleshly voice.  The anointing will push you.

Isaiah 9:6-7 speaks of Jesus’ coming; a great thing to happen!

Small minds think small things.  Great mind thinks great things.

For the anointed:  There is an allotment of space in the spirit where God gives you dominion in the earth where you can proclaim things:  healing, negative situations, seeing the performance of God in others.  God is sitting on His heavenly throne waiting on His children to get to the place in the realms of the spirit where they operate like God.  But in order to operate like God, we must live like God.

We’ve given too many keys away without cleaning it up in holiness.  We can’t live unholy and then decree things in God.

If ye love me, keep my commandments.  John 14:15

We have to walk in the spirit.  You can’t do big God things in the flesh.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Galatians 5:25

Everything God does is big; God is not mediocre.  You have to know who you serve, what you serve and how you serve.  The 3 ways to operate in the anointing is to KNOW:

¨   Who you are
¨   To whom you belong
¨   Who He is

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.  Romans 8:18-22

The anointing is not revealed, it is already in you.  Glory is revealed.

The trial of your faith:  We need to understand why our fight has been so intense because you’re getting ready to burst at the seam!  Don’t get caught up in what you are dealing with right now;

it is working our faith and our patience:
Teaching us to slow down
Not to lean to our own understanding
Not to make permanent decisions based on temporal situations

Everything cannot connect with what is inside of you.  Some of the decisions we make causes us to have to suffer because we connected with things we should not have.  We don’t get stuck in our suffering for the things we did in our ignorance or out of hurt.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  Acts 17:30

The glory is to be seen on us.  Before the glory can be seen on us, the anointing has be manifested in our life.  We need God’s ability to perform in good times and in bad times and when we feel like it and when we don’t.

We are anointed by God.  What the enemy tries to tell you is not going to work

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.   Isaiah 10:27

. . . not because you say you are anointed but because the anointing has been put on you.  The enemy has to go through God to get to you.  The enemy cannot find you in the secret place.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  Psalms 91:1

The glory of God is waiting to be revealed – waiting for us to get up and move; choose a side and become what God has called you to be.  Realize that you are anointed of God.  Being inconsistent causes us to be unconnected with God.

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.   James 1:8

Inconsistency shows in our life; both naturally and spiritually.  Understand that the anointing is the ability of God to perform in you.   Then the glory of God is revealed.

God is waiting on us to let the Glory shine through us. The anointing destroys the yoke and other things; people.  Your first ministry is to you.  Our ministry is not effective because we don’t look the part; we’re not excited about what we do; it is a look.

In our anointing, it is so much more than Sunday service and bible study.  Often times, we get caught up in right now; even in our mistakes but that is not where God left you – it is where you left yourself.  Rise up!

Sacraments:

Communion

Communion is a sacrament of Christianity in a re-enactment of the last supper of Jesus; the blood and body of Jesus.  The wine represents the blood of Jesus and the bread represents the body of Jesus.

Another word for communion is Eucharist.  Communion is symbolic and is done in remembrance of Jesus.  No set time is given.  It is sacred and of much importance.  In the Eucharist; the bread ceases to be bread; it becomes the literal body of Jesus and the wine becomes the literal blood of Jesus.  The broken bread is symbolic of Jesus’ broken body.

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.  Luke 22:19

During communion our thoughts should be fully centered on God.

Foot Washing

He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.  After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.  Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?  Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.  Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.  Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.  John 13:4-9

Everything that Jesus showed us; humility and servitude and a spiritual mindset, He planned for a continuation.

The sacraments brought the power of God into the church because it is done in unity and fellowship.  You can’t have carnal minded people trying to do spiritual things.

Our endeavor is to be in order with the holy sacraments of the bible.  We cannot throw away the foundation given to us by God; nor can we re-create it.
